How Does a Skype Class Work?
Distance Learning is becoming more and more popular making education more convenient, accessible and flexible to the needs of students.
Here, our Private Skype classes are just like having your voice coach come to you. It works just like having a face-to-face, one-on-one class, however it's all done over Skype. You simply log into Skype on your computer or tablet, and we call you at your username. Simple as that! If you don't have Skype, please go to www.skype.com for a free download. You must have a webcam or a built-in camera on your computer or device.
How do I enrol?
We have a 3 step online booking process designed to make this as easy as possible for you.
1. Pay Your Invoice
We accept payment including all credit card payments securely through Paypal. All payments must be made by the due date to avoid delay or cancellation of your booking.
1. Choose a Package
Choose from 4 Skype Class Study Options. Each program offers a FREE Optional Voice Assessment.
2. Enrol Online
Complete the online enrolment form with your preferred starting date. We will email you with a confirmation of availability and invoice for payment.
What can I expect at a first class?
During your first class your voice coach will go over some melodic exercises to test your vocal range, pitch and breathing to determine where you are at so they can design a lesson plan for you. This is your chance to ask questions that you may have, as well as mention any genres or specific songs you would like to work on.
Do I need to book a Term Contract?
No. You can book a Casual one-off class to see if Skype Classes work for you or if that is what fits into your schedule. If you like it, you can book in a Term Package after that or book a casual class when you need a brush up class eg for an audition. Click here for Term Packages
How much does it cost per class?
Classes are priced based on duration (ie hourly or half-hourly) and are proportionately discounted for larger term packages. Casual classes are the most expensive, and we encourage those who want to book casual classes to book a term contract in order to reduce their class costs per class. The more classes you book, the more money you save per class. We have various special offers running throughout the year. For a current price list and special offers click here
Do you do make up classes?
Classes can be rescheduled when 48hours written notice is given prior to the cancelled class. There is a fee payable upfront to reschedule a cancelled class. This however doesn't apply if these cancelled dates are outlined in your term package contract or if you have a letter from your medical practitioner sent to us prior to your class.
What if I need to cancel my contract?
If you need to cancel your contract due to a severe medical condition, please send through a letter from your medical practitioner and we will cancel your contract for a small administration fee. In all other cases, contracts can be cancelled per contract terms. We encourage students to please make sure they are happy with the class schedules before booking.
